Flora-Bama Thanksgiving Potluck

FLORA-BAMA'S ANNUAL THANKSGIVING POTLUCK
November 24th, 2022
Food will be served at 1PM
We are so thankful each year for the wonderful guests, fantastic team members and amazing surroundings. The Flora-Bama invites you to eat, drink and be thankful at our traditional Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. The turkey and ham will be provided by the Flora-Bama, and we encourage our patrons to bring a covered dish to share - because that’s what the season is all about!
Patrons are encouraged to bring a covered dish at 12 noon and we will begin serving at 1PM.
Event Details Below.
List of Services
-
Can Anyone Come?List Item 1
Yes, everyone is welcome! This is a Thanksgiving Potluck lunch gathering of Flora-Bama regulars (and not so regulars) for good food, warm smiles and great times #OnTheLine so we can come together and celebrate the reason for the season.
-
What Do I Need To Bring?List Item 2
Well we supply the meats, ham and turkey, so typically sides are the most needed items (side note - we seem to have plenty of desserts every year., so anything other is much appreciated... though, we're not picky so anything you bring is welcomed!) There will be two service lines open for a buffet-style plate filling.
We request for all those bringing side dishes to please have your dish in the Tent by 12:30PM if possible.
-
Can I Get My Dish Back?List Item 4
Yes, but please be mindful that we like to let everyone finish before beginning cleanup. As we near the end of our Thanksgiving meal, the staff will take all of the serving dishes and have them washed. We will then bring them back out for all to pick-up. For all those that may have obligations shortly after lunch, we suggest bringing your items in a disposable dish.
-
What Does It Cost?List Item 3
Our Thanksgiving Potluck is free to attend, but you will have to pay for any alcoholic beverages.
-
Any Special Guests?
You know it! Each year we invite some special young men and women from local bases who are currently serving in our Armed Forces. We take time to honor them at the beginning of the meal and Veterans are always the first to be served in the buffet line.

So Why Do You Have This?
This is one of the most cherished events of the year for our guests and our staff, and all of us here at the Flora-Bama are so thankful for our friends and family. We give thanks as we remeber the reason for the season, and we are blessed to be able to visit with our families and friends.
