"After several weeks of prayerful & careful consideration we believe it is essential for the spiritual well-being of our church family and community that we reopen our doors to the public. Not ready to get out in a crowd yet? "IT'S OK Not To Be OK" with crowds. We will continue to live stream our Sunday Worship Services online and they will be archived on YouTube. However, if you're not here we will continue to miss you.
Central Flora-Bama Church is a healthy and growing church where “It’s OK Not To Be OK". We are a refuge for those who are surviving, struggling with addictions, battling depression, and seeking help for a number of other issues.
We have strategically considered our options and are preparing to reopen this Sunday, May 30th. Our Worship Service will start at 9:00AM sharp and end before 10:00AM. This service will be a “Family Service” which means adults and children will be worshipping together.
We have done and will continue to do our absolute best to provide alternative avenues for our church to serve the community while respecting the regulations set forth by our government agencies. Keeping this in mind, it's been equally important to not forget the increasing need and desire to begin meeting together in-person again. We receive calls and messages every day from people who are lonely, discouraged, and desperate for community. Many within our church and community have not done well during this season of isolation. Some are battling fears resulting from so many “unknowns”, hopelessness, discouragement, fighting thoughts of suicide, wrestling with drug and alcohol addictions, and looking for hope in what has been a very difficult time for thousands of people in our community and along our Gulf Coast.
Safety for everyone that walks through our doors is our highest priority. Masks will not be required to attend our service, however, you're welcome to wear your favorite form of facial protection. We will have some chairs set up on the beach but are encouraging everyone to bring their favorite beach towel, blanket, or chair with them.
