Multi-Platinum Sony Music recording artist Matt Stell stopped by Mullet Toss to throw some fish with us and put on one high energy performance to kick off the event with a bang. His hits "Prayed For You" and "Everywhere But On" have reached the top of the country charts and his new single, "That Ain't Me No More" is working it's way up to the top. Stell got some technique tips for tossing the mullet prior to his throw and engaged the crowd with a victory lap upon retrieving his fish. Later that evening, he performed to a full crowd on the Flora-Bama tent stage and post performance said, "The Flora-Bama is famous for a reason!". We welcome back Stell anytime he wants to return. Joe Nichols partnered with 95KSJ and the Flora-Bama to put on a show for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. He performed to a sold-out crown on Wednesday, June, 15th on the Flora-Bama Tent Stage, and raised $11,000 dollars with all proceeds going to St. Jude.
On April 29th, the Flora-Bama hosted the Merrill Marauders Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony honoring Gabriel "Gabe" B. Kinney. What a once in a lifetime event to be a part of and a true privilege to witness this incredible moment in history.
