RAIN OR SHINE EVENT

START TIMES:

8:00 AM: 4-Mile Run and 1-Mile Fun Run

8:02 AM: 4-Mile Walk

From ribbons and bows to flags, socks & t-shirts... break out your best red, white and blue attire because we want to make this run screams AMERICA!

4 Mile Run/Walk Participants: 

Runners will begin on the North side of Perdido Beach Blvd., heading West towards Perdido Pass Bridge, then going underneath the bridge and returning to the Flora-Bama on the South side of Perdido Beach Blvd. 

1-Mile Fun Run Participants: 

Runners will begin on the South side of Perdido Beach Blvd., heading West for 1/2-mile, then turn around at marker and head back to the Flora-Bama. 

Finisher Medals will be given to all participants at finish line, as well as, a grab-and-go breakfast and drink.

This will be an an electronic chip timed event. The Top 10 Male and Top 10 Female finishers in the 4 Mile Run/Walk will receive a $25 Flora-Bama Gift Card!

All race participants will also receive a Finisher Medal at the finish line. 

* The Top 10 Male and Female 4 Mile Runners will be displayed at the top of this event page day of race. Gift Cards will be mailed to winners during the week following the Freedom Run (Gift Cards will not be distributed on day of race). 

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Operation ReConnect, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded, operated and managed by current and former service-members with one simplistic Mission: To provide the ‘GIFT OF TIME’ to the men, women and their families who have dealt with the difficulties from an overseas Combat Deployment.

Operation ReConnect provides Post 9/11 Combat Veterans and their families with a full 7-NIGHTS OF UNINTERRUPTED time together in a resort environment, typically located in Coastal Alabama or Northwest Florida. For more information on Operation ReConnet, or to get involved CLICK HERE.
